Welcome to the Westlake Flotilla CGA 30-05 Div 30 8th Western Region website. We have been based at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri since 1992. We serve the Lake community and surrounding areas with a variety of activities such as Boating Safely Classes, free vessel inspections and safety patrols.
We are an active group and a four time winner of the prestigious Commodore Streamer placing us in the top 11% of all flotillas in the United States.
Please browse our website and see what we are all about. If you would be interested in visiting with us, please contact us. Our monthly meetings are the third Thursday of each month at various places around the Lake area.

Flotilla Commander--Bill Mueller
Bill has been a member for 23 years, and a former flotilla commanderin Illinois before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks 10 years ago. He is currently certified as Coxswain, Crew, Instructor, VE (Vessel Examiner)and RSBPV (Program Visitor). His activities also include our Mile Marker project and zebra mussel exams. He was instrumental in setting up our school programs for this last year where we reached over 1,100 children in our area. He holds flotilla level office of Communications. |

Vice Flotilla Commander--Wilson Allsbrook
Wilson has been a member since May of 2010. He is currently certified as an Instructor, Crew,VE (Vessel Examiner), RSBPV (Program Visitor), and working towards Coxswain qualification. He is involved with the Mile Marker project, Zebra Mussel inspections, and was also instrumental in the school programs this year. In addition he holds the offices of Flotilla Member Training, Program visitor and Division level VE and Program Visitor Staff Officer.

Immediate Past Flotilla Commander--Carroll Vogel
Carroll has been a member of CGA for 8 years and is the winner of
the 2009 Willis Hintz Award. He is qualified as coxswain, crew and
a member of DSAR Teams 2009 and 2010. He is active with our
RSBPV(Program Visitor), VE (Vessel Examiner), Mile Marker project
and Zebra Mussel project. In 2011 he acquired his Qualified Examiner
certification. He is Flotilla level Material and Operations officer and will
be Division Vice Commander for 2012. |
