Events of CGA 30-05
Our love of boating and being "on or in" the water, has lent us the opportunity to give back to our community in a way that is not only enjoyable, but worthwhile. Brief descriptions of some of our ongoing projects are shown below.

Safety Patrol
Many of our members take training to be coxswain and crew. They supply on the water
support to both the Coast Guard and Water Patrol at many events such as Shoot Out.
Safety patrols are also done on the various Arms of the Lake to supply education and
help to boaters.
Flag us down when you see the Coast Guard banner--and say "hi"! |

Mile Marker Project
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 30-05 at Lake of the Ozarks is responsible for the MILE MARKER PROJECT at Lake of the Ozarks and provides mile marker signs for the entire lake area.
The signs are 24” wide by 30” tall, highly reflective with white numbers. The name of the branch of the lake is noted at the bottom of each sign.
Mile markers are placed every mile on both sides of the channel. ORANGE signs are on your left and GREEN on your right going towards Bagnell Dam. They are an important directional landmark and VISUAL AID that is visible during the day and reflective at night. The mile marker signs will enable persons in distress to pinpoint their location quickly for assistance.
