Basics

Missouri now requires that all boat operators born after January 1, 1984 must obtain a certificate showing completion of a certified boating safety course. Those who successfully complete the final examination will be presented a certificate that can be used to obtain the state required documents.  Presentation of this certificate to your insurance carrier will usually result in a reduction in boat insurance premium.
